Booking at The SPace

  • The Studio

    Gorgeous and full of light, the 760 square foot studio can host performances, community dinners, tabling events, celebrations, yoga and other movement classes, workshops… whatever you dream up!

    Rates:

    Workshops and classes: $40/hour or 60/40 split of event proceeds (60% to the event organizer, 40% to The Space)

    Free, public, community events are sometimes offered use of the studio for free, at the discretion of The Space

    Private events: $40/hour

  • The Group Room

    Cozy and creative, the group room is perfect for meet-ups, crafting, games, and classes!

    Rates:

    Workshops and classes: $20/hour or 60/40 split of event proceeds (60% to the event organizer, 40% to The Space)

    Free, public, community events are sometimes offered use of the group room for free, at the discretion of The Space

    Private events: $20/hour

  • Small Offices

    Small office space is available for daily or hourly rentals. A great fit for therapy, body work, coaching, or whatever you practice!

    Rates:

    $8/hour or $45/day

    Note: our small office space rentals are currently at capacity Mon-Thurs during working hours. We are still accepting rental requests for evenings and weekends.

  • Scheduling

    Scheduling is via email with The Space events coordinator (thespaceprovidence@gmail.com or click the “inquire about booking” button in our page header).

    We reserve the right to occasionally cancel a regularly scheduled event if there are competing needs. We will do our best to give you at least 2 weeks notice.

    All ongoing events are subject to a trial period during which we will mutually assess if The Space and the event are a good fit for each other.

    If we determine that an event is misaligned with our values, we reserve the right to cancel it without notice. 

    We ask for at least 1 week's notice for cancellation of the office spaces, and 2 weeks' notice for cancellation of The Studio or the Group Room. Thank you for helping us to keep The Space available for as many folks as we can!

  • Amenities and Add ons

    Included with every rental:

    use of full kitchen, 2 stand-alone restrooms, filtered water, wifi, all utilities

    Optional add-ons:

    10 6-ft folding tables, 45 folding chairs, 20 floor cushions, bluetooth-enabled speaker, projector, projector screen

    Parking

    We have a parking lot that you may use while you are at The Space. If you are here outside of business hours, you are welcome to invite workshop participants or guests to park there as well.

  • Important things to know

    Accessibility:

    The Space is on the second story of a building that very unfortunately does not have an elevator. We are always open to hearing from folks if there are ways that we can improve the accessibility of The Space within our existing infrastructure.

    Noise and Neighbors:

    There may be other events and practitioners working at the same time as you and we cannot guarantee a noise-free environment. 

    Our downstairs neighbor is a nightclub, Alchemy, whose events are audible in our unit. Please check their calendar of events to determine any overlap with your event. The Space is NOT responsible for tracking this on your behalf.
